Top three Championship finish secured for Shelley

Shelley and the team recorded two third place finishes, as Pembrey Circuit in Wales hosted rounds six and seven of the 2009 Fuchs Lubricants Rallycross Open Championship.

Victory on both days was more than enough for Stuart Emery to wrap up the Procar 2000 title for the second year running and with one event left to go at Croft Circuit, it still remains all to play for between Shelley and Dave Baines in the battle for the runner-up position in the Championship. Baines currently has an eight point advantage over Shelley, but the points obtained from the final round of the Championship have to count as one of the point scoring rounds.
